First Piñata downloadable content hits the markerplace
A couple of Jet Force Gemini accesories for an abusive price
Viva Pinata hasn’t even seen a worldwide release yet, but the downloadable content is already well on the way. In addition to the Viva Piñata Marketplace theme (worth 150 Microsoft Points) released some days ago, Xbox Live subscribers can access, for a rather hefty fee, a pair of hats for their piñatas to wear.
The hats are modelled on characters from Rare’s cult-classic N64 game Jet Force Gemini. Available for 90 Microsoft Points are a ‘Vela Wig’ and a ‘Juno Helmet’. Nostalgia aside, it is questionable whether or not Rare and Microsoft can justify charging subscribers 90 Microsoft Points for an accessory pack that should have been included in the finished game.
