More cult classic Rare accessories for Piñata on Xbox Live
Second pack available just a short while after the frst one
Starting today, Xbox Live members once again have access to more Viva Piñata accessories. Titled the “Accessory Pack 2”, players can acquire a ‘Mr. Pants Hat’ from Rare’s infamous mascot and star of 2004’s It’s Mr. Pants, a ‘Baron Von Ghoul Helmet’ and a ‘Soupswill Chef Hat’ from 2003’s Grabbed by the Ghoulies.
While we commend Rare and Microsoft for pumping out downloadable content for their premiere 2006 title, asking for three accessories for 90 Microsoft Points is ridiculous. We accepted paying hefty prices for Perfect Dark Zero and Kameo content, yet if the last downloadable content is of any indication, they’ll keep charging points for accessories that could’ve easily been unlockables in the game. This is unacceptable to Rare fans.
