Rare premieres new website design
A new iPod style interface and a hidden contest welcome visitors
Rare has finished polishing up its new site design created by some unknown guy called Jon. Actually, the new look has been online for a few days, but now it’s finally viewable without problems.
Among the several new additions you can find a great mp3 player with music from all your favourite Rare musicians and completely reformatted content with larger renders and wallpapers, for example.
But, if you look closely, you can even find some secret stuff that gives you access to a “Restricted Area”, where a contest with some old Rare goodies are awaiting you. Let’s just say that Loveday’s old trauma with the Perfect Dark button codes has had its consequences years later. Anyway, once you get to that secret page, you just have to finish the sentence “I’m such a shameless freeloader, I would happily…” with less than 20 words (what kind of nonsense contest is this?!), and you’ll be able to win either one of the two copies of Grabbed by the Ghoulies, one of the three Banjo-Kazooie: Grunty’s Revenge cartridges, a Killer Cuts CD (there are three remaining copies still available) or a pair of Banjo-Tooie shorts (L size). The deadline? 3rd of January. So you have enough time to find it, haven’t you?
