Rare’s James Bond returns as promised
The Goldeneye Source geniuses have finally completed the first beta version of their GoldenEye remake using the Half Life 2 graphic engine. This widely known and highly anticipated mod had various trailers attesting the quality and fidelity of the adaptation. Improved graphics, a completely new physics engine, enhanced music score and N64’s classic multiplayer, this time suitable up to 24 players at once.
Now it’s just up to every owner of the PC version of Half Life 2 to decide if the work is worthy of all its hype. But with a basis like the original GoldenEye and all those features, it has to be a game to a kill. The kill of the rogue agent 006, as he will have to face Bond again in the tenth anniversary of their first battle.
