Jetpac Refuelled quickly approaches Earth
Xbox Live Arcade gets Rare's latest game this upcoming Wednesday
On Rare’s site today, a new press release states that the worst kept Rare secret known as Jetpac Refuelled has a release date and a price. Starting next Wednesday, March 28th, the game will be available for download on the Xbox Live Marketplace for 400 points (which translates to $5.00 or 5.00 euros).
The game, which contains the original version of Jetpac seen in Donkey Kong 64 and on the Spectrum, has a new ‘Refuelled’ mode for 2007 which contains “new hi-def graphics, menacing enemies, new smartbombs that produce an electromagnetic pulse, modernized weapon upgrades and updated gameplay for modern gamers.” As well as that, 12 Achievements can be unlocked, totaling up to 200 points for your Gamerscore.
Expect first impressions (or a review) on MundoRare as soon as possible.
