Piñata demo finally steps outside US Marketplace
Shouldn't somebody check out Microsoft's rusty marketing plans?
Do you remember when we reported that, according to Rare, the localised version of the Viva Piñata demo was “coming soon”? Well, to be fair, we didn’t. But today we have realized that Microsoft has finally decided to export it outside the US territory… and just seven months after its release date! That’s what we call aggressive marketing, baby!
Unsurprisingly, due to the delay (blame Microsoft -not Rare- for it), guys over Twycross have informed through its official site that this is not a new demo of the game, but the same one that they already released back in March in the US Xbox Live Marketplace. Except this time it’s fully enabled for Spanish, French, Italian, German and Japanese players, though.
No word has been given about any update to fix the huge bug that several gamers have been experiencing for half a year now, or the (canned?) downloadable contents, like the long ago promised option to visit our friends’ gardens.
