An “all things Piñata” conference at the Comic Con
The VP team to explain the creation and expansion of the franchise
2007 was the first year with neither new, nor old, Rare games featured at E3. But, in spite of it, Viva Piñata got some attention thanks to the new titles of the franchise, Party Animals and the PC port. Just a couple of weeks after that event, Rare will indeed attend San Diego’s Comic Con, starting today. According to the company, “representatives from Rare, Microsoft and 4Kids all descend on the show for a dedicated Viva Piñata panel.”
The Piñata conference will take place next Sunday, July 29th (considered “Kids’ Day” at the Comic Con), in Room 6B of San Diego Convention Center from 2:45 pm to 3:45 pm. Since even Rare admits they doesn’t know much about the issue, this is what the official page states: “Viva Piñata! is one of Saturday morning’s most popular cartoons as well as one of the most innovative and fun Xbox games in years, this lively panel will focus on the creation of all things Piñata! On hand for the party will be the creative teams from 4Kids Entertainment, Microsoft Game Studios, and Rare Ltd, all moderated by video game and comics writer Joshua Ortega.”
Despite not attending the convention, MundoRare will -in fact- offer you another exclusive interview about Viva Piñata over the weekend. So, stay tuned!
