Portable ponocky Rare site blowout!

Info on the Piñata game coming to a DS near you

pinata_ds1.jpgRare’s not hampered on updating the site regarding Viva Piñata DS, thereby confirming that they’re developing it (as if there was any doubt). Though there’s no game page for it yet, they haven’t hesitated to let us know about a few tidbits about Rare’s newest remake including a single screenshot. As such, this article will be your VPDS information station until Rare decides to put a game page for it with additional info, screenshots, and whatever else they’ve got hidden under a helper’s sleeve.

For those that don’t know, this is a direct translation of the 360 game shrinkwrapped into dual-screened goodness. Not only does it have every feature and piñata included from the 360 game, it also has new piñatas, a Sandbox mode (in which you can access your piñatas) and an Episode mode, which will have to do with the show. Like the 360 version before it, Viva Piñata DS offers the option to trade piñatas with your friends through the use of the Wi-Fi connection, enabling you to send your pimped-out Raisant to your friends.

In addition, as mentioned in the previous article, Piñata Island is currently hosting a Q&A session with a few Rare employees, so if you want to ask reasonable questions regarding whether or not you’re still able to wallop Seedos for massive damage, take the plunge and ask away.

All of this included with the touch controls the DS is known for finishes off the known features of yet another remake. It’s unknown at this time who’s publishing this game. MundoRare will be there to tell you the latest candy-filled news about Viva Piñata DS as it breaks.
