4J Studios developing Banjo XBLA, Stop ‘n’ Swop reconfirmed
New media out the wazoo. Or Kazoo.
It’s safe to say that, barring some surprise announcement at E3, Microsoft undoubtedly stole the show with the announcements that they did. For Rare fans, we got Banjo and Piñata trailers, and the revelation of B-K coming to the Xbox Live Arcade.
As if that wasn’t enough, Rare has updated a ton of new media to their site. On the respective Nuts & Bolts and Trouble in Paradise pages, one could find a ton of screenshots for both games, a new Nuts & Bolts wallpaper in their Downloads section (or our artworks page), and four new E3 videos of Trouble in Paradise in its Downloads section.
B-K coming to the Xbox Live Arcade left a few questions asked: will Stop ‘n’ Swop really be implemented? Where’s the media? Who’s developing it? 2 out of 3 is never bad, as Rare themselves have reconfirmed that Stop ‘n’ Swop will work between B-K XBLA and Nuts & Bolts, as well as the external third party developer who’s working on B-K XBLA that was kept secret for two whole days: 4J Studios in Dundee.
The News article promises more information and media in the upcoming games about their Rare developed titles as well as the Xbox Live Avatars. Four titles, all coming this year. Granted, two are ports (BK XBLA and Pocket Paradise), but with one implementing a promised feature a decade ago and one that will get non-360 owners wondering what the hell Viva Piñata is all about, all the upcoming games have some promise.
Moreover, Microsoft has offered through Flickr some new pictures of the “new Xbox Experience”, but the Avatars are still a bit shy to public eyes.

We’ll elaborate on Trouble in Paradise and Nuts & Bolts soon on MundoRare. Continue to stay tuned.
