Nick Burton Burton has a “strong idea” for Lunar Jetman XBLA

Would need a "hard deadline of sixth months"

Nick Burton is certainly one to spread wildfire regarding some of Rare’s classic games. Among the very lengthy interview with Videogamer.com, he talks about the idea of having Lunar Jetman (a Spectrum game released in 1983) hitting the Xbox Live Arcade.

Says Burton, “Because I’d done Jetpac [Refuelled] and we’d already got a fairly strong idea for Lunar Jetman, I’d kind of like to do that providing I was given a hard deadline of six months, so it was really tight and quick. Mainly because there’s that idea already there.”

Outright confirmation? At the moment, it appears to be nothing but wishful thinking, but that doesn’t mean that the return of a classic would be unwelcome. The Xbox Live Arcade has so much potential for remakes and classics as well as new titles that the possibilities are endless. Even more so if third parties port their classics to the service. Now where are the plans for Anticipation on Xbox Live Arcade…?
