Nick Burton imagines the future

Wishful thinking, or potential expensive future console?

In that really huge interview with Videogamer.com which spurned tons of news articles, Nick Burton did once mention the future of the Xbox 360. He stated within the interview that the 360 will have at least three more years of life, with him stating that it’s Microsoft’s intention to keep this generation of gaming going on for a very long time.

For you readers that are technologically inclined, here’s some insights which are bound to be potentially interesting. Within Spong’s huge Nick Burton interview, he talks about the future of the successor of the 360: “Even if you gave me a new… (if you gave me) the Xbox 720! I’d say, all right, it’s got 32 GPUs, a terabyte of memory and we’ve got rid of hard disks, it’s stored in the cloud.”

Bring on 2011 at the earliest, I say. What say you, technical genius readers in hiding? Possible 600 dollars worth spending on?
