Rare promises more space in Trouble in Paradise gardens

MundoRare will offer five exclusive interviews in the coming days

When some weeks ago Rare announced a new instalment of the Viva Piñata franchise for the Xbox 360, promising not only new species but interesting gameplay improvements, hardcore piñata tamers instantly requested some changes in what probably was one of the weakest points from the first title of the series: gardens became full of items and creatures too easily because the limit of the elements that you could store in them was probably a bit low. Somehow, if you think about it, this concern could also be extended to the new Banjo game which will allow players to create huge contraptions by using a whole plethora of Lego pieces.

Well, don’t worry. Rare’s designer Ryan Stevenson have confirmed to MundoRare that -this time- you’ll have more stuff in your gardens than in VP1: “As with everything there’s always a limit, too much ice cream will make you sick. We have looked at the limits in VP and you will get more in your garden this time,” he confirmed us in an exclusive upcoming interview. “As for Banjo, the teams worked hard to make sure you can build any vehicle you can dream up,” he added.

After our recent hands-on impressions for both Trouble in Paradise and Nuts & Bolts from Microsoft parallel event to E3 in New York, we push the boat out in the next few days by offering you five exclusive interviews with distinguished personalities from the gaming industry.

In addition to the Mr. Stevenson’s comments about the games he has worked on since he entered the company, MundoRare will also feature video interviews with Albert Panello (Global Marketing Director of Microsoft Game Studios) and Michael Johnson (First Party Games Product Manager of Microsoft Game Studios) about the future Xbox and Rare proposals for this Holiday Season. Moreover, teaming up with Spain’s infamous gaming blog AnaitGames, we’ll also be covering two of the most promising Xbox 360 titles for this Holidays, Fable II and Gears of War 2, with some extra hands-on impressions -in Spanish- and a double meeting featuring Microsoft’s Shannon Loftis (Director of European Production for MGS) and Epic Games’ President Mike Capps!

And, if that wasn’t enough, we’ll soon be announcing the winner of our recent Banjo-Kazooie Anniversary Celebration’s Giveaway which yesterday came to its end! We are really excited of the astonishing quality level of the entries that we have received, and we know that it won’t be easy to choose only one. The lucky winner will receive an unique piece of concept art from BK Nuts & Bolts signed by the very own Ryan Stevenson and Banjo’s lead designer Steve Mayles.

So, whether you are working hard in the office, or having some relaxing holidays in the coast or the countryside, pick up your favourite ice cream and enjoy our teaser trailer for some of our many future offerings this month.

The interview with Ryan Stevenson will be a different feature, and is all in text format; while the other four belong to our Xbox Holiday Showcase coverage and are all video interviews =)
