Trouble in Paradise demo hits the Marketplace
According to Rare, "it's 25 minutes of the main game"
Exactly one month after the release of Trouble in Paradise, Rare and Microsoft have added a free playable demo of the new Piñata title to the Xbox Marketplace.
The demo requires 1.5Gb of free space, and as Will Bryan commented some weeks ago, “it’s from the main game, but there’s pointers to the fact there are Live features and Just For Fun mode. It’s 25 minutes of the main game basically.”

The demo offers a huge garden full of items and some piñatas for starters. You can find a large snowy area with an igloo (a Polollybear house), a fridge (Pengums home) and a Severnaya station antenna (i.e., Lemmonings house). There’s a couple of Bispottys and Custaceans wandering around a couple of lakes, as well. Visits from Preztails, Bunnycombs, Sparrowmints and Mothdrops are also guaranteed.
Leafos and Seedos are Piñata Island’s hosts, but Langston immediatly takes the baton to guide you through the main tutorial (which can be skipped if you prefer). Bart’s, Petula’s, and Costolot’s shops are open if you want to buy some stuff. And while you can’t visit the Piñartic or Dessert Desert, some of their species -like the Walrusk- will pay you a visit.
As you may have realized, it’s a very complete demo with lots of stuff to do. So if you haven’t had any experience with the Piñata universe yet, or you don’t know what this new title in the series has to offer, you should definitively give it a try. And, of course, you can also read our recent review.
