The Banjo universe meets Piñata gardens
Captain Blubber and Gobi to visit your TiP eden... well, sort of
After the amazing Viva Piñata cards from the Tokyo Game Show or the ones hinting at a new Killer Instinct, it’s time for the Banjo universe to meet the paper maché world, to celebrate the release of BK XBLA.
The bear and bird duo already had their own cameos in form of a BK statue in Costolot’s store, a Mumbo Jumbo sculpture to scare Dastardos off, and many accessories like a pair of Bottles’ Glasses, a Banjo Backpack or the Jolly Roger’s Lips to name just a few…
However, now some of the classical Banjo characters also got their own piñatesque representation in Piñata Island thanks to the exclusive cards released by Rare on three of the main Rare fansites, followed by another bunch of three at Rare’s own online spot later this week.
MundoRare’s exclusive card features one of the many missing characters in Nuts & Bolts (at least, in NPC form), Gobi the Camel. Probably it’s not very hard to imagine what will this card make appear in your Trouble in Paradise garden, right?
Also, Captain Blubber can already be found over Piñataisland.info, while a Green Jinjo awaits at the Rare Witch Project. Rare’s very own cards also show all the main characters: Banjo, Kazooie and Grunty. Go and scan them all, and don’t ever let your gardens dry up!
