Enjoy instant landscape changes with the new Piñata cards
Get quickly the terrain you seek: short grass, long grass, sand, snow or soil
Some love Summer. Others prefer the icy temperatures of Winter. Many love the vivid colours of Autumn. And probably only pollen allergic people will have something against Springtime. But with the new bunch of Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise cards, you can enjoy the pros and cons of each season in the twinkling of an eye!
Thanks to Rare’s James Thomas, if you want to instantly change the complete aspect of your garden, all you’ll have to do is to scan with your Live Camera one of these five new cards, and… ta daah!! all the ground surface will be suddenly modified. Pretty much like a seasonal change! “Perfect for those who want instant landscaping abilities,” James states.

Make your choice from the options above and get a huge garden covered by short grass, long grass, sand, snow or soil (click on the gallery for hi-res versions).
Besides, with all those Easter updates related with the upcoming Banjo-Tooie XBLA, we missed another special Piñata card from our pals over Piñata Island.
Unfortunately, the effects of that one were restricted to Easter time… But there’s an easy trick you can execute to make it work again: “The only way to activate it is to tweak the clock in the dashboard; as long as it matches the date on the card, which is the same for any of the cards we’ve released, then you should be able to use it,” explains James Thomas. To do so, remember that you’ll need to be disconnected from Xbox Live; otherwise the clock will be set automatically. Easter took place a couple of weeks ago, with the holiday period being between April 9th and April 13th.
Maybe now you may also want to try some of the previous holidays cards in case you missed the opportunity before!
